[party] "IN GOANA DUPA SANTA CLAWS"

Duminica, 27 Decembrie @ Control Club, Bucuresti
"IN GOANA DUPA SANTA CLAWS"
Meeeeeerrry Chrissst'Bass all!

Pe mine ma gasiti in aceeasi seara si la Fabrica(click pentru detalii) pe ritmuri din zona vecina("After X-mas Dubstep Clean-up @ Club Fabrica" care va curata sfarsitul de an to a better day for fat beats, pregatind diverse aperitivestep, shotstep, cocktailstep si dessertstep spre deliciul gurmanzilor).
Merrrryy Christ'Bass each of you, wher'ever you are!

Spookane (Future Sickness, Lost Frequency, Xtreme Audio Violence, Mindfuck Events) Biography

Spookane’s (brother of the famous Grindcore band Lengt'che) love for music started off with an initiation into the hardcore scene, feeling especially moved by the more dusky sound of Darkcore and Terror. The harsh industrial sounds drew him in but he soon tired of the four to the floor beats and started mixing Hip-hop. Structurally compelling though he found it, he longed for the speed and darkness that he had found in Darkcore and Terror, before finally discovering Drum and Bass. He fell in love with it, as it combined break beats with up-tempo electronic music, and submerged himself in the genre completely. Soon enough he’d gotten hold of some Darkstep and realized that this had been the reason for his musical quest. Tunes by prolific producers such as Current Value and Counterstrike inspired him to form a collective of like-minded artists, joining forces to develop and disperse the sound. This paved the way for the birth of his brainchild, Future Sickness records.
Spookane’s dedication and technical proficiency, which stems from his qualification as a sound engineer, soon turned some heads within local and global scenes. Veterans and young talent from around the globe were signed to the imprint, and the future holds only superlatives for this label.

As Europe finds itself in the throws of a Hardcore revival, Future Sickness founder Spookane is ready to unleash a new sub-label catering to the U.K. and Industrial Hardcore crowd. This endeavour brings our man back to his musical roots and with it he’s about to add another chapter to the story of the underground scene in Belgium and beyond.

Together with Igneon System (Rebelscum/Pandemonium), Lost Frequency will launch in September ’09 with a double 12Inch release by The Outside Agency (Hidden & Eye-D, NL). Having invested their energies in Drum and Bass production for a few years, the duo has well and truly come back to Harcore, delivering two remixes which will set the tone for releases by more of the scene’s most prominent producers.
The DJ Producer (UK), having released a steady stream of genre defining tracks since ‘94, is one only of a handful of artists that can fill Lost Frequency’s tall order. Poland’s headliner I:gor, The Teknoist, Autopsy, Dolphin, Deathmachine (UK) and Detest (GER) will also be joining the ranks in the foreseeable future with a host more to be announced at a later date. Once again, a recognizably dark underground sound combined with quality production, is what the in-house style is all about.

Besides vinyl and digital releases distributed worldwide by Triple Vision and Symphonic Distribution, live samplings are on the cards at the 'MuSick' events in Belgium. These are set up as joint venture by Igneon System and Spookane to promote the label. Lost Frequency nights are also in the pipeline starting March 2010 so check the myspace for details on upcoming events.
