ESP Agency anunta ca Breakage se pregateste de turneu cu ocazia lansarii celui de-al doilea LP intitulat "Foundation". Turneul va fi sustinut in perioada August-Decembrie 2009 alaturi de Stamina MC, SP:MC si Kemo. Albumul in sine va fi lansat in Septembrie in cadrul labelului Digital Soundboy si va intoarce capete cu siguranta prin mixul unic de drum&bass, dubstep si alte stiluri.
Breakage s-a facut deja remarcat ca producator prin releasurile si remixurile sale pentru Digital Soundboy, Tempa, Reinforced, Bassbin sau Planet Mu, printre altele. Iar ca artist s-a facut remarcat cu siguranta prin ascensiunea unui sound inimitabil. In "Foundation", Breakage pune mult accent pe colaborari, in mod special pe latura vocala. Dintre aparitiile de pe album merita mentionat Roots Manuva, ca sa nu mai vorbim de piese alaturi de Burial si Threshold.

Cu siguranta recunoasteti amprenta accentuata de subbas din Together(feat David Rodigan), piesa de pe ultimul sau single la Digital Soundboy pentru care a si captat atentia scenei de dubstep.
Breakage este un artist care diversifica anuntand pentru viitorul apropiat o serie de remixuri pentru Zarif (cu suport din partea BBC Radio 1 @ Zane Low Show) si Flying Lotus.


Breakage Q & A:

Q. The album is shaping up to be quite varied, with drum & bass and dubstep featuring as well as other styles. Do you prefer playing a mixed set live or just focusing on one style?
A. Generally if the crowd's up for it, then I like to play a mix - personally I get bored of hearing one style all night long. It's hard to do in an hour-long set and it's nice to play for a bit longer, so i can really play exactly what i want.

Q. You first broke through with a slew of massive breaks-heavy amen tracks on Reinforced, Bassbin and Critical and helped to connect drum & bass to it's jungle roots. Will you be doing any tracks in this style again?
A. There's a track on the album - the title track 'Foundation', it's my first return to amen in a long time, I feel if I do an amen track now it has to be something special and "Foundation" is defiantly one of my favorite amen tunes to date

Q. There's some high-profile and interesting guests on the album, including Roots Manuva, Newham Generals and Burial. Is there anyone in particular that you've enjoyed working with and do you have any plans for more collaborations in the future?
A. I'm planning to keep the connections strong and try and work with all of them again in the future, everyone on the album was a pleasure to work with and brought a really great vibe to the tracks

Q. Will any of the guest vocalists be appearing with you on the album tour?
A. For the album tour, SP:MC, Stamina & Kemo will be hosting as they're three of only a few MCs who can really flow well over both dubstep and drum & bass.

Q. You're heading to Japan next week before a busy summer including festivals in the UK, Croatia and Sardinia. Is there anywhere you haven't visited yet but would like to go to?
A. I love going to new places, even if it is for only a night, it's really surprising how much you can actually learn between an airport, hotel & club lol. I could'nt pick a top place really as i just enjoy the experience as a whole

Q. Are any other artists currently inspiring you at the moment? Is there anyone else you'd like to work with in future?
A. There's waaaaaaaay too many to mention here!!!
