Tim Eliot alias Current Value reprezinta unul dintre cele mai mari nume si de o influenta ireversibila asupra ariei productiei de drum and bass, sub-genul care poate caracteriza cel mai bine stilul germanului fiind darkstep-ul.
Current Value a reusit in cei peste 15 ani de activitate sa traverseze diferite arii muzicale care au manifestat la randul lor influienta asupra productiei sale.
"Indoctrinat" cu antrenament in fata pianului clasic, aparitia primelor sale creatii muzicale amintesc de anul 1992. Pornind de la clasicul amen break inventat de Gregory Sylvester in 1969 si reprezentat in cantecul “Amen, Brother” producatorul CV incepe sa isi dezvolte bazele ritmicii pe o amprenta sonora originala generand totodata o perspectiva futurista asupra scenei. Activitatea din cadrul unui radio local precum si primele EP-uri lansate la Don Q si Position Chrome aveau sa ii achizitioneze noului 'boom' muzical pe langa aprecieri si un public plin de recunostinta. Stilul sau de a-si transpune emotiile si sentimentele pe ritmurile techstepului i-au adus un bine meritat succes, la inceput pe scena americana continuand mai apoi sa inghita pe rand miezurile scenei din Europa si Asia.
Printre numeroasele productii ce alcatuiesc portofoliul sau amintim piese precum 'Creative Robot', 'Skybreaker', 'Bass Riot', 'Dark Rain'.

Noul sau album, lansat in luna noiembrie a anului 2009 intitulat “2012 : The day of silence” reprezinta ultima sa creatie bazata pe un deceniu de studiu si inovatie a telekineticii, puternic influientat de tobele militare, o marca Current Value.
Ca productii viitoare mentionam un EP impreuna cu Donny pe Barcode Recordings, un EP solo pe L/B Recordings si un EP pe Subsistenz intitulat “Back to the machine”.
Current Value se va afla pe teritoriu romanesc pentru a doua oara, de asta data invitat de catre Dropdread @ Therapy Sessions Bucharest 4, prima oara delectand un pubic proaspat introdus pe ariile mesajului terapeutic prin drum&bass la invitatia crewului Darke*st.
Avand in vedere schimbarea de stil si cei trei ani parcursi de la ultima intalnire, cu siguranta 12 Decembrie va marca un moment semnificativ!

Pentru noi petrecerea va incepe de dimineata: Sambata va asteptam la Ollie Gang Shop in hideout room pentru un targ cum nu ati mai intalnit. Asa ca, daca vreti sa va achizitionati ceva special la un pret special de la unul din labelurile specificate pe flyer, sunteti asteptati Sambata, 31 Octombrie, la Ollie.

O parte din colectia de viniluri personala va fi prezenta la targ. Daca vreti sa facem schimb de viniluri sau doar sa frunzariti/cumparati ceva drum&bass/dubstep, nu ezitati ;)
