Intr-un interviu recent acordat saitului Carhartt-Streetwear cu ocazia colaborarii cu Carhartt pentru campania de ilustratii a colectiei Carhartt Fall/Winter 2009, artistul milanez Marco Klefisch[Rebel Ink Crew] descrie experienta care l-a apropiat de graphic design si ilustratie, in cea mai mare parte datorata celor doua mari influiente: muzica si graffitiul.
Avea doar 18 ani cand s-a lansat in cariera sa de grafician si ilustrator, acum la 33 fiind posesorul unui portofoliu impresionant, portofoliu ce numara in paginile sale colaborari cu marci ca EMI, Sony, Virgin sau reviste precum Vice, The End, Arkitip si Rugged[by Carhartt, pe care va sfatuiesc sa o luati din OGS cat mai exista].
“I basically try to do what I like. I try to fit my new ideas into my commissioned work. I prefer to work on my own contents and, when it’s possible, to sell them to the client. Actually, I try to use my graphic design experience in a combination with photography to produce handmade illustrations,” he explains the form and current focus of his work which he pursues from his Milano-based studio."
